Action Packed JAG Weekend

On Saturday 25 ProNutro JAGRunners from Kayamandi and Cloetesville
took part in the Stellenbosch Vista Trail fun run. The organisers provided
plenty of soccer balls for the kids to play with and they had a ball ()
playing soccer on Coetzenburg’s fields afterwards. 14 year old Okuhle Tose
took part in the senior 12km race and came a 8th overall against really good
competition.

While the action was on at Coetzenburg, the Kayamandi BMX’ers from
Songo.info were kicking up the dirt at the Velokhaya track in Khayelitsha.
Two of the boys finished in the top 3 of their age group.

On Sunday just over 300 ProNutro JAGRunner girls (and a few boys?)
took part in the SPAR ladies race. The girls had loads of fun and especially
enjoyed the performances of Darren Lerm and Emo

Odwa Mbangatha from Lavender Hill took part in his first ever duathlon
at Zevenwacht and came 3rd and this was after loosing almost 20minutes
with chain problems.
